Gatta specialises in Mechanical Carpentry and Precision Sheet Metal Production
The company was founded in the 1920s by blacksmith Antonio Gatta, whose products originally included aircraft valves, wrought iron parts, bicycles and prototypes for motorcycles. Gradually, the company’s focus shifted towards the industrial sector, initially steel and metalworking, and later concentrating on industrial and non-industrial machine builders.
Since 1978, the company has operated from its site in Colleretto Giacosa, with warehouses covering 10,000 square metres.
Initially, our main customers came from the steel and metalworking sector.
Later, the business shifted towards industrial and non-industrial machine builders (including the cable transport sector, for which Gatta has produced cable car structures and quarry ropeway conveyors).
Today, the company specialises in mechanical carpentry and precision sheet metal.
